Fall In Love With Where You Live: August 31st - September 2nd

 

2018 African American Cultural Festival

The Scoop: The African American Cultural Festival Of Raleigh And Wake County (AACF) is a two-day cultural celebration that takes place every Labor Day weekend, in the center of Downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street's City Plaza and Charter Square. AACF is free and open to the public, with family-friendly events that include top-notch visual arts, merchandise vendors, and food vendors. The festival also attracts a diverse range of wonderful performing artists to share interactive musical and theatrical performances.

Wellness Series at The Dillon

The Scoop: The Dillon is bringing you six weeks of free fitness on the 9th-floor sky terrace! Join the Saturday morning from 9am-10am for a fitness class led by Blue Lotus Community.

The Endless Summer 8K

The Scoop: Part III in the Runologie Race Series, The Endless Summer 8K keeps summer rolling with an evening 8K around Dorothea Dix Park and after party at Trophy Brewing on Maywood Avenue with live music. Endless Summer signature medal with every registration and a beer (or beverage of choice) from Trophy Brewing. Food trucks and vendors and music to keep you dancing through the holiday weekend.
